Ryan Glaubke is an oceanographer from Virginia Beach who developed a passion for the ocean and climate science through firsthand experiences with coastal flooding in Norfolk, Virginia. He specializes in paleoceanography, studying microfossils of foraminifera to reconstruct past ocean conditions and understand historical climate change.
