Description
Planet Mars Albedo Globe™ shows the natural colors of the planet. Satellite albedo imagery measures the light reflected by the surface materials on Mars. These materials are illuminated by reflected light from the sun, and produces a Brightness Image. Viewing the Mars Albedo imagery along with hillshaded topography reveals the cosmic and climate history of Mars, and how the Martian physiography affects both fluvial and wind deposition of materials. Physical features and place names are labeled on the image map, along with latitude and longitude graticules.
